Meet Your Latin Heritage Month Training Speaker
Dr. Daniela Garcia Grandon (she/her) received her PhD from North Carolina State University in the field of sociology, after completing her Masters Degree in Public Policy from Universidad de Chile and currently resides in Ottawa, Canada.
Daniela brings an extensive breadth of knowledge through her experience as a professor at NC State University and subsequent work as Senior Researcher at the Latin American Center for Rural Development (RIMISP).
As her research focused on systemic inequalities, she is passionate about sharing her learnings with others during Latin American Heritage Month.
