Global Accessibility Awareness Day

Accessible Entry sign

Global Accessibility Awareness Day is focused on making sure digital tools (like websites and apps) are usable by everyone, including people with disabilities.

GAAD is observed on the third Thursday of May every year. The main goal is to raise awareness about the importance of digital accessibility. This means making sure websites, apps, and other digital platforms can be easily used by people with visual, hearing, motor, or cognitive challenges.

In our digital age, accessing online information and tools is crucial. Everyone, regardless of their abilities, should be able to use, navigate, and interact with the web easily.
