Shavuot

Shavuot is a Jewish observance of the giving of the Torah, the biblical laws of Judaism, from God to the nation of Israel.

This is a great video that explains what Shavuot is and how it is celebrated.

Be Mindful of Dietary Restrictions during Shavuot in the workplace:

Food has the ability to bring people from various cultures together. And every culture has traditional dishes that have been made time and time again.

However, if you are planning an event that requires food, it’s important to be mindful of your employees’ dietary restrictions.

For example, dairy foods are often consumed on Shavuot but Jewish people are often Kosher. Thus, you may want to serve a meatless version of a traditional dish as well as the version that includes meat.
